Thursday was a great weather day, in the 70's, so we decided to do our GeoCache thing. With a park map and GPS in hand, we were off to find the hidden box. First thing the GPS did was direct us to cross the lake, with no boat we had to hike around to the other side. 4 hours later we arrive and we found the box. It was very exciting to get within 100, 50, 10 feet of it and then to spot it, hidden under a big rock. Inside we found it full of "stuff" and a log book. We signed the book and added more stuff. Now we had to hike back to our RV on the other side of the lake and in the end, we had hiked over 13 miles. We were soooooooo tired but it was fun and we want to GeoCache more. XXOO TML |
