Bonneville Salt Flats

Henry has watched the world record setting events held at the Bonneville Salt Flats, about 100 miles west of Salt Lake City.  We drove out there today and while it was a long drive, we did see a few things along the way ! 

The Great Salt Lake....not a boat on it ! 

One of two salt processing plants we saw ! 

Called The Salt Lake Tree....we are wondering if its art or a cell tower?

Here are the flats....looks like a big white lake.  Some wet patches and you can break off pieces of salt.

This is where they set speed records for cars and motorcycles.
