We were enjoying seeing the snow....its JUNE and there is snow on the ground ! See the rabbit?
We were camped on Lake Yellowstone, which was beautiful, but the rivers were everywhere and they were just breathtaking !
BISON
The first two pictures are of a Bison we saw while out at the river and we were gaga... little did we know that by the end of the day we would have been up close and very personal with Bison !
We got caught in a traffic jam because of this herd, making its way down the highway ! WOW!
The older bison were very protective of the babies...always adults surrounding the young !

By the end of our time, we had seen so many Bison we were not even taking pictures anymore. They are an amazing and huge animal, with attitude....they go where they please and clearly rule the roost here at Yellowstone ! 400 were herded in to Yellowstone by helicopter from Montana just last year !
