This is the actual grave of Jeremiah Johnson. Robert Redford played him in the movie about his life and we learned today that Robert Redford also served as a pallbearer at his funeral !
A relative of Buffalo Bill...and Henry ! Buffalo Bill Cody is buried in Denver Colorado and what we learned was that he wanted to be buried in Cody, Wyoming but his wife did not honor that wish and in fact had him not only buried in a deep vault but his casket was covered with concrete so no one could move him later....as a result Colorado has a Buffalo Bill Museum and has been at odds with Cody Wyoming's Museum...one having his legacy the other his tomb ! Now that's a story !
