This is in the same city park as the pecan, we were looking for a Five and Dime that I had remembered from when I was here with my mom. We didn't find the store but did get this picture so a worthwhile stroll !
Gruene is a town we were told to visit and we expected it to be a German town but what we found was a town that was quaint and clearly all about sidewalk cafes, antique stores and probably has a pretty booming night life. We enjoyed browsing around and it was fun to visit but I don't think it will make our Top 10 list, with the exception of the wind chimes we saw.
Look at the size of these wind chimes ! They have wonderful sounds too...might be a little loud to hang in a subdivision but then if you could afford them, you probably have a great big secluded house !
Back to our campground for cards and a wonderful dinner ! Weather update: Clear skies, wind is back and temps are in the high 80's. I'm a happy camper... Joe, Henry and Linda...not so much ! xxoo TML
