This is funny. We knew time zones would be an issue but in an RV and as you travel like we are, they are a real challenge. Its 6AM now, I think we are on Mountain Time and I have a post-it note on my clock that says "MINUS 1 HOUR" because the clock is mounted and we don't want to take it down too much. When we left Georgia, it was already 1 hour behind but we entered into Alabama and it was right again. Now we are heading into Arizona and just for the 2 weeks we are there, we lose another hour, so we are 4 hours behind the east coast. When one of us asks what day it is, we all have to stop and think. Now when we ask what time it is, the only sure way to know is to look at a cell phone ! Makes you crazy !!
GAS PRICE UPDATE:
Gas prices had been around 3.80 gallon in Texas...yesterday we filled up in Deming at 3.73 but we actually saw gas for 3.68 down the road. Thank goodness we can use regular !
WEATHER UPDATE:
We had gusty winds last night, up to 60 MPH. This morning its calm and beautiful. Weather should be good for traveling into Arizona today. We will be settled into Tucson a few days. Temperatures are in the 80's and 90's and skies are clear !
